Disable automatic updates app on iPhone and iPad
From iOS 7 can automatically download updates to your favorite apps and install. This tip shows you how automatic app updates work and how you can turn them on and off
If you are using automatic downloads in iOS 7, you do updates in the App Store to install manually. Handy, because you always have the latest apps on your iPhone or iPad. Via push notifications you will be informed if the latest updates are installed. But as a developer an update is released that causes problems , then you're holding the baby. It is therefore sensible to automatically install appupdates off. It does mean that you need to install. Henceforth manually
Turn off Automatic Updates
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch-
Go to iTunes and App Store (scroll to the bottom piece- Turn the switch behind Updates to deactivate the function -

You will receive automatic app updates. If there are updates (recognizable by the red badge with number on the App Store icon), you'll need to install it manually. To enable the function, follow the same steps as above and activate the switch so that it turns green
