E-GO Cruiser: electric skateboard with iPhone app

The E-GO Cruiser is a longboard (an extra long skateboard) that will soon be offered for sale for 600 euros. The special thing is that you have a remote control to get delivered and that with an iPhone app can control everything. Bluetooth The app displays battery temperature, controls the speed and shows how far you've driven.

It seems an ideal vehicle to go to work or school because the battery lasts 180 minutes full and you store the 96-inch E-GO Cruiser after use easy. Uphill can also: 400-watt motor handles slopes up to 10 percent. The toy comes this month on the market and is made by a Hong Kong company, which also sells spare parts if something breaks.

For example, an extra battery pack costs € 215, a roll of grip tape € 10. Now you might say, for 600 euros I easily buy two bicycles or a second-hand scooter. So why this? Very true. The E-GO Cruiser seems to be mainly for the spoiled hipster who has everything and does not want to work up a sweat. With a range of 30 kilometers you drive easy for a week through the city without recharging. And if the battery is empty, then you step in longboard and all easy on the bus or tram. An additional advantage: little after the initial investment of 600 euros it costs money: it costs a penny per mile, and it is also environmentally friendly.
