The iPhone has two keyboards: one in QWERTY layout keyboard and another for numbers, punctuation marks and special characters. With a button bottom left, you can switch between QWERTY and keyboard with special characters. When entering text with a lot of punctuation can be tricky that you always have to switch keyboard. Fortunately this is not necessary. It may be smarter!

Type your text on the standard QWERTY keyboard, and you need a punctuation mark, then press the button? 123, but leave your finger pressed on the screen. Drag your finger to the desired punctuation mark and release. You will automatically return to the QWERTY keyboard.This trick also works with punctuation and numbers.

Bonus tip: double space after a word makes many apps a point!
